Very Very Tiring Week

I'm back!! Hehe. Just arrived this evening. Feels good to be back but unfortunately I caught the 'flu' bug. Hopefully its not H1N1.

Will be back till 9th August. So far my schedule is kinda packed:
29/07/09: Renew passport in the morning and after that off to Prince Court for my appoinment with Dr Gangaram @ 1230pm and Prof Muhaya @ 2pm
30/07/09: Maybe going to Indonesian Embassy to renew visa, cousin's wedding rehearsal at night

01/08/09: Iyli's akad nikah & wedding reception

02/08/09: Going to the hairdresser to accompany my mum

03-05/08/09: Going to Kota Bharu with Aisyah

09/08/09: Going back to Jogja but trying my best to go to Sha's engagement in the morning

Those are fixed events. it doesn't include applying for Japan visa, possibly barbeque with friends, etc. At the same time wanna find people who wants to watch Harry Potter.

Anyhoo, the last one week has been a blast but really tiring. The couch potato flew to Yogya. Yayyy! Hehe. But unfortunately for him I was very busy with Research Week at my uni, patients and doing some immigration stuff. Kesian dia duduk sorang-sorang sampai I balik around 3pm. But thanks to Aimi and Nana who are always around to keep him company when I'm working.

Research Week @ Gadjah Mada University

Yesterday (27th July) was his 24th birthday. The sad part was I had discussion with my lecturer so we celebrated his birthday at night. We went karaoke-ing and I suprised him with a birthday cake together with my housemates. Lucky fellow to celebrate his birthday with 6 girls! Hehe. The best part was his suprised expression. Priceless!

Not As Smooth As Silk

Don't you hate it when you plan everything that you have to do for the whole week but nothing goes according to plan. That was what happened to me this week. I must confess I'm not in the best of moods right now but as most people would say "Everything happens for a reason". So, I try not to think of it and spend as much time with my friends so I won't think about it.

Things haven't gone quite smooth either in the outside world. Firstly, there was the Iranian plane crash on Wednesday that killed all 168 people onboard. Its the third plane crash in the last 3 months.

Then there's the the hotel bombings at the Ritz-Carlton and JW Mariott Hotel in Jakarta yesterday that killed at least 8 people and wounded more than 50 people. What is happening to this world?Anyhoo, here's the progress of my 'love bite' from Charlie... It seems to be in a good healing path =)

Charlie Bit Me!

Yup... Charlie bit me again. This time its an uglier sight. Thank God I can't see it directly as its at the back of my neck. At first people thought it was Herpes or something. Eewwww.... To set the record straight I went to the Doctor to get a better diagnosis. Deep down inside I kinda knew it was Charlie cos I've been bitten by Charlie too many times to count and I know the signs and symptoms. Hehe.
The Doc said I was bitten by an insect. So thats definitely Charlie! So there you go people, it's NOT herpes. I was given Cinolon cream and 3 types of tablets: Mefinal, Corditex and Lesidas. Hopefully it won't scar!

Ever since I started studying in Yogya I've had countless skin and eye problems that I've never had before! Fungal infection, Charlie, bisul.. the list goes on and on... Its gonna leave a permanent mark on my skin! (Adakah ini petunjuk dari Allah SWT tuk pakai tudung? *wink*)

In an even 'Eeewww-ier' mode, I went out with my housemates for lunch last Saturday. Guess what I found in my food.. Hell yes, a HUGE fly...
